Trip Report: Asiana Airlines Seoul Business Class Lounge Review
|This post is part of the series Vietnam Trip Report 2016
After arriving from New York, we had a little less than two hours in Seoul before taking our next flight to Hanoi. We headed directly to the Asiana Airlines Seoul business class lounge to relax and grab a small bite. The lounge is pretty large and consists of two large main areas separated by the reception desk. The lounge was busy but we still managed to find a couple of empty seats quickly.
After sitting around for a few minutes, I took a quick walk around the lounge to check out the different seating areas. The selection of colors and materials in the lounge give it a very chic and cozy feel.
There are a couple of dining areas in the lounge with a buffet that has a nice selection of food and a chef that makes these amazing scallion seafood pancakes.
There are so many types of seating areas; private areas, TV areas and lounge areas.
There’s a small business center with a few computers.
Since we visited this lounge on the way back I’m going to share my experience then here as well instead of writing a different post about it. On the way back we had a longer travel time since we started from Phu Quoc island and had a really long layover in Hanoi then another long layover in Seoul. Therefore, I was happy to find the massage chairs, I didn’t understand the controls but I managed to turn it on 🙂
I also took a nice shower, shaved my beard and brushed my teeth before the long flight back to New York. There are a few shower rooms which you have to inform the reception desk that you’d like to use. You’ll get a buzzer which will alert you when it’s your turn to use one of them.
Asiana Airlines Seoul Business Class Lounge Bottom Line:
I really enjoyed my time in this lounge. It’s very spacious and has all the amenities you need at a lounge. The food, tho was limited in variety, was very delicious. There’s a ton of space and many seating options to chose from. The availability of showers is great if you’re connecting through Seoul before/after a long international flight. There’s high speed WiFi available as well which is pretty standard at any lounge now. Overall, I had a good time at the Asiana Airlines Seoul business class lounge.
