The Chase Credit Cards that earn Ultimate Rewards Points are probably some of the best credit cards ever, especially when combined together. These cards create an incredible ecosystem that is arguably the absolute best. The fact that you can pool all your points accrued from your premium cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve® with no annual fee cards like the Chase Freedom Flex℠ and even business cards like the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card or the Ink Business Cash℠ Credit Card… is amazing!

What is the Chase Holy Grail

The Chase Holy Grail is the combination of 6 Chase Credit Cards that earn Ultimate Rewards Points. I talked and wrote heavily about each one before, so in this post I’ll just show you the highlights of each one then I’ll talk about why they’re great and how you can get them.

The amazing thing about this combination of cards is that even though some bonus spend categories overlap, each one has some unique bonus categories of their own. So you’ll always earn bonus points and you’ll easily combine all your points together to really maximize the way you use them.

How to Get the Chase Holy Grail

Chase has a few rules that you need to be aware of before you starting getting all these cards.

  • Chase 5/24 rule – Chase will not approve you for any of these cards if you’ve opened 5 or more credit cards in the last 24 months.
  • You shouldn’t apply for more than one Chase card, personal or business, within a 30 day period.
  • You can’t open a Sapphire card if you currently have a Sapphire card open. You also can’t earn a welcome bonus on a Sapphire card if you’ve earned a bonus on another Sapphire card within the last 48 months.
  • Even though there’s no real limit on how many Chase Credit Cards you can open, Chase limits the amount of total credit line they extend to each customer. It generally depends on your income and credit worthiness.

Based on these rules, slow and steady is the best way to get all these cards. I’d say to space them out over a year or more.
The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is probably the best starting point especially with the current increased offer of 60,000 points after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months.

Something to consider also, if your credit score is not that great, you might want to start with the Chase Freedom® or Chase Freedom Unlimited®. Build your credit score by paying off your balance in full and on time every month, then you can move forward with other cards.

Bottom Line:

There’s no doubt that the Chase credit cards and the Ultimate Rewards Points loyalty program ecosystem is one of the best, if not the absolute best ecosystem of credit cards out there. I’m so happy to have finally added all these cards to my wallet where I’m earning bonus points on many different categories of spend.
