I think you will agree with me when I tell you that the fastest way of earning points and miles is through credit card sign-up bonuses. It is such an easy and fast way to boost your points and miles accounts. Currently, there are many cards with elevated bonuses. Five of which are currently offering 100,000 sign-up bonus points. Some may be more valuable than others, but nonetheless, that’s HALF A MILLION points if you get all of them ;).

1- The Business Platinum Card^® from American Express

The full sign-up bonus of 100,000 points can be achieved after doing some serious spending. The bonus is tiered as follows:

Earn 50,000 Membership Rewards^® points after you spend $10,000. Earn an extra 50,000 points after you spend an additional $15,000. Since this is meant to be a business credit card; a high spend threshold is to be expected. This card comes with some incredible perks and benefits, some of which easily offset the annual fee of $450.

• $200 Annual Airline Credit
• $100 Global Entry Credit
• 35% points rebate when booking flights with points through Amex Travel with the selected flight for the annual credit or when booking any business or first class flight.
• Prioirty Pass Membership
• Access to Centurion Lounges
• Access to Delta Skyclubs when flying Delta in any cabin

2- Hilton Honors Ascend Card

Hilton points are not super valuable but you can definitely get a few free nights with 100,000 Hilton Honors points at many hotels around the world. The spend requirement to reach the 100,000 bonus points is much more reasonable on this card.

You’ll earn 100,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points after you spend $2,000 or more in purchases with your new Card within the first 3 months of Card Membership. The annual fee of this card is $95.

The card also comes with some long term benefits that makes the card a keeper.

• Earn a Weekend Night Reward from Hilton Honors after you spend $15,000 on purchases on your Card in a calendar year.
• Enjoy complimentary Hilton Honors Gold status with your Hilton Honors Ascend Card. Plus, spend $40,000 on eligible purchases on your Card in a calendar year and you can earn Hilton Honors Diamond status through the end of the next calendar year.
• Priority Pass™ Select membership and get access to 1000+ airport lounges. Plus, get 10 free lounge visits every year once enrolled. Additional passes are $27 per person per visit.

3- Hilton Honors Aspire Card

Very similar to the Hilton Ascend card but with a higher annual fee at $450 that comes with a ton of benefits.

You’ll earn 100,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points after you spend $4,000 in purchases on the Card within your first 3 months of Card Membership.

• Enjoy one weekend night reward with your new Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card and every year after renewal. Plus, earn an additional night after you spend $60,000 on purchases on your Card in a calendar year.

4- British Airways Visa Signature^®card

The spend requirement on this card is also tiered but much more reasonable compared to the Amex Business Platinum.

Earn 50,000 bonus Avios after you spend $3,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. Plus earn an additional 25,000 bonus Avios after you spend $10,000 on purchases within your first year of account opening, plus a further 25,000 Bonus Avios after you spend $20,000 total on purchases within your first year from account opening. Chase 5/24 rule doesn’t apply to this card.

Besides the awesome sign-up bonus, this card comes with a Travel Together Ticket that is earned after a calendar year spend threshold is reached.

Every calendar year you make $30,000 in purchases on your British Airways Visa Signature card, you will earn a Travel Together Ticket good for two years. Redeem your Avios for one reward seat for yourself and use your Travel Together Ticket to bring a companion in the same cabin even first class. You’ll have to pay the high British Airways fuel surcharges, taxes and fees for both tickets but can be totally worth it of used in business or first class.

5- Marriott Rewards^® Premier Plus Credit Card

This is a brand new card offered by Marriott after the acquisition of SPG. The card comes with a high 100,000 points sing-up bonus after spending $5,000 in the first 3 months and has a $95 annual fee. Chase 5/24 rule applies to this card.

• Earn 6X points for every $1 spent at over 6,500 participating Marriott Rewards^® and SPG^® hotels
• Free Night Award every year after your account anniversary, valid for a one night hotel stay at a property with a redemption level up to 35,000 points.
• Automatic Silver Elite Status.
• Enjoy Marriott Rewards Gold Elite Benefits when you spend $35,000 on purchases each account year.
• Receive 15 Elite Night Credits each calendar year.

Bottom Line:

These are 5 amazing credit cards that offer a combined 500,000 sign-up bonus points that can take you almost anywhere in the world for free. Now I don’t recommend you applying for all of them at once obviously. Pick the one that best fits your travel needs and start with it. Then you can work your way to the other ones. Some of these cards’ bonuses are available for a limited time but these offers come around occasionally. So don’t feel the rush to apply for all them right now. You have to be able to meet the minimum spend in order to earn the sign-up bonus.
