Earn up to 40% Bonus Alaska Airlines Miles

Alaska Airlines Miles are one of the most valuable airline miles out there. Right now you can earn up to 40% bonus Alaska Airlines miles when you buy their Mileage Plan Miles. You can log in here to purchase the miles and earn the bonus. The more miles you buy, the larger the bonus — up to 24,000 extra miles. This offer ends July 3, 2018.

The bonus is on a tier system as follows:

Buy 10,000 – 19,000 miles = 20% bonus
Buy 20,000 – 49,000 miles = 35% bonus
Buy 50,000 – 60,000 miles = 40% bonus

This means that when you buy 60,000 miles you will get a total of 84,000 miles. The total cost will be $1,773.75 – That’s an AMAZING price for what you can do with these miles. For example, I was able to book an $18,000 Cathay Pacific First Class flight for 70,000 miles. With this promotion you can buy 70,000 miles for $1,478!!

How to maximize your purchased miles?

Before the major devaluation of Emirates redemptions, I would’ve said your best use would be redeeming your miles for business or first class trips on Emirates to the Middle East/Africa/Asia. However, now your best use would be first class or business class trips on Cathay Pacific or Japan Airlines or Business class on Hainan Airlines.

Why Buying Alaska Miles is a Great Deal?

• You’re allowed a free stopover, even on a one-way award
• There are no fees if you cancel or change your award at least 60 days before departure. Changes within 60 days of departure will cost you a $125 change or mileage redeposit fee. (This is changing on June 5th 2018. All changes after 24 hours from booking will incur the $125 fee)
• There’s no limit to how many miles you can buy per promotion, this means you can buy up to 60,000 miles pre-bonus per transaction, but can make as many transactions as you’d like.

Bottom Line:

This is a great deal from Alaska Airlines. I don’t generally recommend buying miles unless you have a plan to redeem them in the near future. However, this is so great of a deal that if you’ve been holding off buying Alaska miles, this is the time to buy.
