Last year I applied for the Chase Hyatt Credit Card and I earned the two free nights after I met the minimum spend. I had to redeem these two nights before the end of August 2017 or else I would lose them. Since I’ve been wanting to go back to Europe for a while now so I figured what better way to redeem my two nights than at the famous Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome. This is a Category 7 property that requires 30,000 points for a free night. Paid rates in August start at around $800 a night. This means I got a $1,600 hotel stay for free!!
The Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme is one of the most luxurious hotels in Paris, located in a historic building near Place Vendôme and Palais Garnier in the heart of the city. It is about a 15 min walk to the Avenue des Champs-Élysées or the Louvre and about a 20 min walk to the Eiffel Tower.
The hotel has a very luxurious feel to it from the entrance to the lobby and the room and everything in between.
The room is a bit tight, but definitely not bad by European standards especially in Paris and in this prime location. The queen size bed is extremely comfortable.
As soon as you walk in to the right there’s a small area for the mini bar, safe and coffee machine.
The bathroom is very spacious with a separate area for the toilet. The shower and bathtub area had an additional sink.
A changing room/ luggage area with the main sink.
Next to the bed is large desk with hidden area for all the plugs.
infront of the desk is a a large chair and the TV area.
Waiting in the room was complementary macarons and two bottles of Evian water.
Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome Bottom Line:
The Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome is definitely a luxurious hotel in an amazing location in the heart of Paris. I was happy to use my two free nights from the Chase Hyatt Credit Card there. The room was very comfortable and all the staff that we interacted with was super professional and seemed really eager to make our stay great and make sure that we didn’t wait too long for anything whether it’s checking in, checking out or asking the concierge any questions; everything was handled very professionally and efficiently.
