Chase Sapphire Reserve Card

There has been rumors the last few weeks around a new high end card from Chase. I first heard of the Chase Sapphire Reserve Card from Doctor of Credit. After that I’ve seen it a few other places as well: Miles to Memories,  One Mile at A Time and Million Mile Secrets.

Only yesterday we got official news; Chase even announced the new card on their twitter page. The funny thing tho is that Chase announced the card by re-tweeting TPGs blog post! 

Earlier yesterday the miles and points world went crazy when an application link went live – seemingly by accident. The live link was posted on Reddit. Unfortunately, I saw the Reddit post after the link went dead. My main question when I saw this was; will this card fall under Chase’s strict 5/24 rule? A lot of Reddit users reported that they got approved for the card despite the 5/24 rule. This seems promising and I sure hope the same applies when the card officially goes live on 8/21.

I can’t wait until this card goes live officially and I pray it doesn’t fall under the strict 5/24 rule. With all the benefits listed above, this card is a no-brainer.
