American Express Launched a New Integration with Walmart.com

American Express and Walmart, announced that eligible U.S. Card Members enrolled in the Membership Rewards program can now use Membership Rewards® points to shop favorite products on Walmart.com, both on desktop, mobile web and mobile app (IOS and Android).

In conjunction with the new Membership Rewards® Pay with Points offering on Walmart.com, Card Members can earn two additional Membership Rewards® points per dollar spent (for a total of 3 points) when they use Amex Express Checkout on Walmart.com from July 30 to August 30.

How it Works:

• Membership Rewards® Pay with Points

  • Select an eligible American Express Card during checkout on Walmart.com desktop, mobile web, mobile app (iOS and Android) and the point balance will be displayed
  • Enter the dollar amount you wish to apply to your order
  • Select “place my order” to complete purchase
  • Within 2-4 business days, a credit for the dollar amount used in points will appear on the American Express statement

• Amex Express Checkout

  • During checkout on Walmart.com desktop, mobile web or mobile app (iOS and Android) select Amex Express Checkout under the + More tab under payment methods
  • Enter your AmericanExpress.com UserID and Password
  • Your billing and Card information will be auto-filled in the designated fields, so just confirm and complete your order
