New Card With 50,000 Bonus Points and $0 Annual Fee

Chase recently introduced a brand new business credit – the Ink Business Unlimited card. This card is very similar to the freedom unlimited personal card in terms of lack of an annual fee and its redemption options.

Card Details:

  • Earn $500 Bonus Cash Back After you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months after account opening.
  • Earn unlimited 1.5% Cash Back rewards on every purchase made for your business.
  • 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for the first 12 months, after that variable APR of 14.74% – 20.74%.
  • You can redeem your rewards for cash back, gift cards, travel and more through Chase Ultimate Rewards®. Cash Back rewards do not expire as long as your account is open.
  • $0 Annual Fee
  • Purchase protection which Covers your new purchases for up to 120 days against damage or theft up to $10,000 per claim and $50,000 per account.
  • Auto rental collision damage waiver; Decline the rental company’s collision insurance and charge the entire rental cost to your card. Coverage is primary when renting for business purposes and provides reimbursement up to the actual cash value of the vehicle for theft and collision damage for most cars in the U.S. and abroad.

Why Get This Card?

  • You can turn the bonus into 50,000 Ultimate Rewards points when you pair the Ink Business Unlimited with a card that earns Ultimate Rewards points, like the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card or the Chase Sapphire Reserve.
  • The Business Unlimited card has no annual fee and has a 0% introductory APR offer, this can be a great match for start up businesses with irregular cash flow. The 0% intro APR is good for 12 months from account opening on purchases and balance transfers.
  • In terms of earning rewards The Ink Business Unlimited offers 1.5% cash back per dollar spent on all purchases. This is great for spend on non bonus categories… I wouldn’t use this card on travel or dining where you can earn much more with other cards.

Bottom Line:

This is a great no annual fee card that you can add to your wallet. You can get way more value out of your points earned with business unlimited card if you transfer them to cards like the sapphire preferred or the sapphire reserve. You can book travel directly through the Chase portal and receive up to 1.5 cents per point in value with the reserve card or 1.25 cents per point with the sapphire preferred. So just by pairing your business unlimited card with one of the other cards you can get up to 50% more in value.
