New Hilton Honors American Express Cards

Earlier this month Amex announced their new Hilton Honors American Express Cards. The new lineup will be available in January 2018. I always get excited when new cards are introduced for the opportunity to earn more and more bonus points. As of now, there are two Hilton Honors American Express Cards; the Hilton Honors Card and Hilton Honors Surpass card. The new cards improve on the existing ones and then there are two brand new cards.

Hilton Honors American Express Cards Bottom Line:

Bottom line, these are some pretty awesome changes. The existing cards are getting a nice upgrade that adds value to them. I personally have the Honors Surpass card which will be converted to the Ascend card. Having the opportunity to earn a free weekend night certificate after spending $15,000 on the card in a year is great!

The addition of the high end Aspire card is amazing as well. You’ll earn the highest elite status (Diamond) just by having the card. The annual fee of $450 is high but the benefits are amazing; $250 Airline incidental fee statement credit and $250 Hilton resort statement credit more than cover the annual fee.
