Our flight on Aeroflot A330 Business Class from Moscow SVO to New York JFK leaves from Terminal D at Sheremetyevo International Airport. After spending a short time at the Jazz Business Lounge, we made our way to the gate. Boarding had already started and it was a mess. There was no clear distinction between the economy line and the business/priority line. We finally made our way to the front of the line and we made our way to the jet bridge. I wasn’t sure what to expect from Aeroflot but, I was excited.

Once on the plane, I liked how spacious the business class cabin felt. It looked very clean and the color scheme was fresh. Aeroflot business class cabin has 28 angle-flat seats in a 2x2x2 configuration. The seat is 26 inches wide and has a pitch of 60.2 inches and bed length of 76.5 inches.
Leg room is huge in this business class cabin.
Waiting at my seat was a blanket, mattress sheet and a pillow. The pillow was a bit light but the blanket was awesome and large.
After settling in we were offered a pre departure drink. Choices were orange juice, water, apple juice and sparkling wine. I opted for sparkling wine.
Seat controls were to my right on the arm rest.
To my left, there was the entertainment system remote, reading light, headphone jack and USB port. There was also a power outlet at the bottom of the seat.
A short while later, the flight attendant came by to give us the Salvatore Ferragamo amenity kits, slippers, and headphones.
Menus were distributed later.
During takeoff and landing the entertainment screen automatically shows the front facing camera on the plane.
Aeroflot has a decent collection of entertainment options. Everything from TV shows like Game of Thrones and Mr. Robot to all kinds of new and old movies. Definitely enough entertainment for the 10 hour flight.
Wifi is available on this Aeroflot aircraft.
Soon after take off, dinner service started and we were given hot towels.
We started with the cheese and biscuit.
Then the tray table was set up nicely and every passenger got a rose during dinner. Nice touch Aeroflot 🙂
I skipped the roast beef cold appetizer and went straight to the salad which was flavorful.
After that I got the fish soup which was full of flavor.
For the main course I chose the Seabass with Paella. The paella was great but I wasn’t a fan of the fish.
For dessert I wanted both the vanilla ice cream and the Swiss apple cake. I was told I can chose only one item but they’ll see if they have enough. Sure enough, I got both.
After dinner it was time for bed. I got a solid 4 or 5 hours of sleep which is usually rare for me on airplanes, but I was very comfortable.
About 90 minutes before landing we were served the light meal of assorted cheese, grapes, beef stroganoff and a strawberry cake.
Just before landing a flight attendant passed around a parting gift of Kioko tea and thanked us for flying Aeroflot.
Aeroflot A330 Business Class Bottom Line:
Aeroflot exceeded my expectations. It was one of the most comfortable flights I had. The flight attendants are friendly, extremely professional and very efficient. The seat was very comfortable and had a ton of leg room. The bed was nice and roomy to sleep on. The blanket is one of the nicest I used on a plane. This was an overall very pleasant 10 hour flight and I would definitely fly Aeroflot again given the chance.
