The Freedom card is a great sidekick to the Chase Sapphire Preferred and Chase Sapphire Reserve cards because it allows you to combine your points and then transfer them to airline and hotel programs which gives you better value per point. If you use the points for cash back, you’ll only get 1 cent/point in value. However, when you redeem your points for travel with Ultimate Rewards transfer partners, you can get a much higher value per point.
With the Sapphire Reserve you can easily receive 1.5 cent/point when you book your travel through the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal.
