Reminder: Activate 5% Cash Back on Amazon, Zappos and More with the Chase Freedom Card

You can now activate your Chase Freedom card to earn 5% Cash Back on Amazon, Zappos and More. Although you can activate now, the promotion kicks in on October 1st and you have until December 31st to earn 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in combined purchases on these websites.

If you don’t have the Chase Freedom card you can apply for it here. This is a great – $0 annual fee – card to always have in your wallet for the rotating quarterly 5% cash back promotions. It is also a great supplement to the Chase Sapphire Preferred card in order to be able to transfer Ultimate Rewards points to several airline and hotel programs.
