Can I Use The $50 Statement Credit From Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card Towards Purchasing a Gift Card?

The Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card has many benefits that make it a long term credit card. Some of these benefits are:

 A great way to use this $50 statement if you don’t have travel plans on Delta within the first 3 months of opening your credit card, is to buy a Delta Gift Card.

 I tried this last week and within 24 hours I saw the credit on my statement online.

Bottom Line:

There is no way to guarantee that the statement credit will work toward gift cards, but there is no harm in trying. Delta gift cards are as good as cash that you can use on your next Delta purchase.
